TUITION
TUITION IS DUE ON THE 1ST OF EACH MONTH. A $10 LATE CHARGE IS DUE WITH TUITION IF PAID AFTER THE 10TH OF THE MONTH. NO REFUNDS/CREDIT FOR MISSED CLASSES - PLEASE MAKE UP ANY MISSED CLASS(ES) IN ANOTHER CLASS OF SIMILAR AGE AND ABILITY. A $35 FEE IS ALSO CHARGED FOR ALL NSF CHECKS OR WRITTEN ON A CLOSED ACCOUNT.

OR, IF YOU PAY VIA CASH, PLEASE PUT THE MONEY IN AN ENVELOPE AND INCLUDE THE STUDENT'S FIRST AND LAST NAME, THEIR CLASS LEVEL, AND THE PERSON'S NAME PAYING THE TUITION. A RECEIPT WILL BE GIVEN FOR ALL CHECK AND CASH PAYMENTS.
TEACHER INVOLVEMENT
DANCE TRAINING, ESPECIALLY BALLET, REQUIRES THE TEACHER TO TOUCH THE STUDENTS IN ORDER TO MAKE THE NECESSARY PLACEMENT CORRECTIONS.

I, HEREBY, AUTHORIZE KATHLEEN RUSSELL DANCE STUDIO TO TAKE VIDEO RECORDINGS AND PHOTO'S OF CHILD'S (CHILDREN'S) NAME IN CONNECTION WITH ANY NEWS RELEASE, STORY, WEBSITE, NEWSLETTER, BROCHURE, OR ADVERTISEMENT TO USE, EXIBIT, AND DISTRIBUTE FOR PUBLICATION AND EXHIBITION OR ANY OTHER PURPOSE DEEMED PROPER.
Attendance
It is important and expected that the students attend classes regularly. Irregular attendance without good reason will jeopardize a student's participation in the Spring performance. Students should arrive 10 minutes before class begins and be picked up promptly at the end of class. Students must wait inside the Studio until they are picked up, not on the sidewalk out in front of the building. Safety is very important!
Talking/Cell Phones
Talking during the class and cell phones ringing during class is not appreciated and not permitted. Please turn phones off!
Food & Drink
Gum, food, and drinks other than water are not permitted in the Studio. Please keep the Studio clean, as it is your home away from home.
Bad Weather
Carlisle School District cancellation policy is followed in the event of inclement weather. These classes may be made up at your convenience. If you are unsure whether class(es) will be held, please check the studio's Facebook page, not Kathleen's personal page.
Class Viewing
The remaining 10-15 minutes of the last class for the month are set aside for viewing of your child’s progress.
School Uniform
Students must wear the color-coded dance uniform of their level. Exceptions: Adult Classes.
A dress code lends a professional look to classes and sends the message to students and parents that Ms. Kathleen takes her student's training seriously. It also creates an added sense of discipline in the classroom and equality among students.
Hair
All medium and long hair must be pulled back into a bun. Short hair must be kept off of the face.
Shoe Wear
Only tap, ballet and jazz shoes as well as dance sneakers can be worn in the studio. In regards to the dance floor, any dirt brought in from outside will gouge and ruin the finish. Also, please be sure to put your child's name inside their shoes.
Tuition
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. A $10 late charge is due with tuition if paid after the 10th of the month. NO REFUNDS/CREDIT for missed classes - please make up any missed class(es) in another class of similar age and ability. A $35 fee is also charged for all checks returned NSF or on a closed account.
Registration & Payment
There is a $20/student or $30/family non-refundable registration fee and first month's tuition is also due upon enrollment. Payment via debit/credit card can be taken directly on PayPal. If you choose to write a check, please include the child's first and last name on the check and make the check payable to Kathleen Russell. Or, if you pay by cash, please put the money in an envelope and include the student's first and last name, their class level, and the person's name paying the tuition. A receipt will be given for all check and cash payments.
Teacher Involvement
Dance training, especially Ballet, requires the teacher to touch the students to make the necessary placement corrections.
Publicity Release
I hereby authorize Kathleen Russell Dance Studio to take video recordings and photos of child's (children's) name in connection with any
news release, story, website, newsletter, brochure or advertisement to use, exhibit and distribute for publication and exhibition OR for any purpose it may deem proper.
